Blantyre’s BlitzBlast: A Family Effort in Community Service

A huge well done to Ryan Houston and his daughter Ava who have been out and about, cleaning up Blantyre.

Noticing the sign above the ‘June Stewart Centre’ in High Blantyre needed a clean, the father-daughter duo got to work to clean the sign back to its original condition. Ryan is the business owner of BlitzBlast a local company for all your outdoor cleaning needs….very handy especially at this time of year!

Ryan told Blantyre Telegraph, “Giving back to our community with my little helper. My daughter Ava and I cleaned up the June Stewart centres sign, making sure our neighbourhood stays looking its best. Proud to teach her the value of community service and taking care of the place she calls home.” #CommunityLove #LeadByExample #LittleHelper”

Seeing kids care about Blantyre warms our heart. We’ll arrange for a couple of VIP cinema tickets for Ava and a pal, with enough left over for some sweet treats! Well done Ava (and Ryan!!)
