Down goes the old branding of ‘Priestfield Senior Citizens Hall’ and up goes the new official name ‘The June Stewart Centre’.
The sign on the hall just off Main Street, High Blantyre was officially changed over today, Monday 01 July 2019. Named after June Stewart, the community volunteer who offered back so much to others, especially at this hall, the new name is already in use.
We hope also for the sake of the old ‘Priestfield’ name being remembered, that it features on new buildings or streets in this area in future.
