Scotland’s International Matches Now Free on BBC

For years, Scottish football fans have been unable to watch Scotland’s international matches on free-to-air channels. But that’s about to change.

A new deal secured this week means Scotland’s men’s international football matches will now be broadcast live on the BBC, bringing great news for supporters.

BBC Scotland director Hayley Valentine confirmed that there will be “free-to-air access to all Scotland’s international matches” in the lead-up to the 2026 World Cup.

This breakthrough follows pressure from politicians across all parties, who have called for Scotland’s national team games to be made freely available—just as they often are elsewhere in the UK.
