Another Blantyre woman doing well in the world. Blantyre actor, Molly Geddes will soon be seen in her first major TV role, appearing in the BBC/Netflix series about the Lockerbie disaster – The Bombing of Pan Am 103
‘The Bombing of Pan Am 103’ is a six-part series sharing the untold story of the Scottish and American investigators who sought to bring the perpetrators to justice.
Molly (pictured) plays the role of WP Lauren Aitken. In between her acting assignments, Molly runs various community classes and Project Pal at Blantyre’s TACT hall with aim of expanding awareness of the arts and creating safe and empowering spaces. The series begins on BBC iPlayer and BBC One on Sunday 18 May, with new episodes premiering at 9pm every Sunday and Monday for three weeks. The producer is Julia Stannard (United, War and Peace, Anne) and Michael Keillor (Chimerica, Roadkill, Best Interests) is the director.
