Glasgow welcomes your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, as the city closes off streets for the filming of a major new Marvel movie.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, stated for release on July 31, 2026, will be the fourth solo outing for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker exploring his college life and events after the previous films.
Parts of Glasgow have already been transformed with signs, flags, lights, shopfronts to make the city look American. For drivers, it means a little but of disruption in the coming days. Bothwell Street, St Vincent Street, Waterloo Street, and Oak Street through to Richmond Street facing closures. Here’s a full list of streets affected:
