Blantyre’s Sporting Memories Group have a very special evening planned on Wednesday 12th November.
Group member, Iain McMillan told us, “That evening at 7pm at the Livingstone Memorial Church, the group have invited along a special visitor. Rose Reilly, Scotland’s only world cup winneŕ is coming to Blantyre. Rose is a former footballer who played as a striker. She represented both Scotland in the 70s and Italy in the 80s in international football.”
Come along! Everybody is welcome. This is a wonderful opportunity for any footballers girls/boys to meet a world cup winner and share some interesting stories.
