The Sporting Memories group recently welcomed former International Footballer Rose Reilly to Blantyre.
The venue was Livingstone Memorial Church on 12th November when the group were heard Rose’s own remarkable story about how she followed her dream to play football in the 1970s and how the wee lassie from Stewarton became captain of Italy’s World Cup footballing team in the 1980s!
The local community Group meets regularly and often have guest speakers from the world of sport. A great night was had by all accounts!
