Ryanair ditches printed boarding passes

Ryanair has confirmed that from 12th November, it has now ditched printed boarding passes and fully switched to digital passes.

Passenger will no longer print off boarding passes, having to rely on passes being stored digitally on their devices and phones. With only 20% of passengers relying on passes on their phones previously, consumer group ‘Which’ is concerned that the new policy risks making travel on the UK’s largest airline more difficult for millions of older people.

Have your say. Do YOU store your boarding pass on your phone when travelling or prefer having a physical printed paper pass?
