A band of rain will push in from the west this afternoon, heavy at times. The rain will clear to scattered showers in the late evening. Staying windy.

Tonight (Thursday), showers will continue for a time, but it will be clearer and the showers will be lighter. Increasingly lengthier clear spells by the early hours, with just the odd isolated shower lingering.

Friday will become dry. Patchy cloud and sunny spells in the morning. Cloudier in the afternoon, but late hazy sunshine will develop in the evening.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday

Saturday will become windy. Cloudy with a band of heavy rain pushing from the west during the morning. A chance of some thunder. Dry with sunny spells in the afternoon. Sunday will see cloudy periods, sunny breaks and the odd shower. Cloudy with rain on Monday morning, heavy at times, followed by sunny breaks and showers in the afternoon. Breezy.
