Football fans are in for a treat this November and December as the Sporting Memories Group at Livingstone Memorial Church, Blantyre welcomes two special guest speakers.
⚽ Wednesday 4th November – Alan Sneddon
Former professional footballer Alan Sneddon, who played for Celtic, Hibernian and Motherwell, will be coming along to meet the group and share some memories from his footballing career.
⚽ Wednesday 2nd December – Willie Pettigrew
The following month, the group will welcome former Motherwell and Dundee United striker Willie Pettigrew, who also represented Scotland during his playing career.
Both evenings are open to anybody who would like to come along. Whether you’re a lifelong football supporter, remember watching these players in action, or simply enjoy hearing stories and memories from Scottish football’s past, you’ll be made very welcome.
