Exclusive: Soap Star to attend Gala

Blantyre Community Committee have just announced they have secured Scottish Soap Star, Scott Fletcher who plays Angus Lindsay in River City to come along to the Gala Day to crown the Royal Pageant.

Blantyre born Scott will crown the gala king and queen on Saturday and it seems very fitting for our own celeb to be at this community event.

The Gala starts at 11am at David Livingstone Centre, with free entry. The Royal Pageant are being crowned at 1pm and the event ends at 5pm. The weather is holding up nicely and expected to be warm and sunny.
