People in Blantyre have just 2 days left to find the Gala King and Queen and the rest of the “Royal Gala Pageant”.
Blantyre Community Committee are announcing which children will be crowned when the competition ends this Saturday 13th. On the day of the Gala on Saturday 27th June, the Committee are also looking to crown a Prince & Princess, Lord & Lady, Duke & Duchess. This fantastic honour is an excellent prize for local children. EIGHT children forming Blantyre’s “Royal Pageant” will be treated like royalty, be driven in Limousines and will be given royal robes and crowns to wear on the Summer Gala day. All they need to do is turn up smartly dressed. They will also be given a momento for the day and after the crowning ceremony at the Gala day on 27th June , they can scoot off and enjoy the rest of the fun.
If YOUR child is aged between 8 – 10 and would like to be crowned in this exciting event now brought back to our town, then all you need to do is put their full name down below, telling us in a few words why they want to take part. All the names will be put into a hat and drawn at random on Saturday 13th June 2015.
Rules: All nominations must live in Blantyre at the time of being nominated. Children must strictly be between ages of 8 and 10 at the time of nomination. They must be available on Saturday 27th June from 11am until 1pm and accompanied each by an adult.
