Breaking News: Railway Accident

We’re seeing several reports on Facebook of an incident involving a local male that took place earlier today on the railway line somewhere between Low Blantyre and Cambuslang stations. We won’t be repeating rumours or speculation here, until facts are known. Similarly we cannot speculate or say anything else at this time until more is known.

Trains coming from Glasgow were delayed throughout the day, with commuters coming home left wondering what was happening, as a police presence adjacent to the line was visible. It is thought trains are running again normally now.
