The numbers of positive Covid19 cases in South Lanarkshire are falling, perhaps a sign that the current lockdown is having an effect.
Public Health Scotland stated there were 808 new cases of the virus between Sunday, 10th January and Saturday 16th January 16 – down by almost a quarter on the previous week.
The weekly figures for positive cases for Blantyre and immediate area are still a concern, prompting further caution required if out and about.
