Emergency services were called tot he scene of a road traffic accident earlier this morning on Glasgow Road, Blantyre.
An accident happened before 11.30am, resulting in a car flipping over on the central reserve. A Police Scotland spokesperson said : “Around 11.30am on Thursday, August 3, police received a report of a one-vehicle road crash on Glasgow Road, Blantyre.”
The road was closed off, with a large police presence until late in the afternoon. An ambulance took away one person to hospital, their condition presently still unknown. We hope the person is ok.
