Police and Emergency services sealed off a road in Blantyre this morning, after a car crashed into a house, causing a gas leak.
Police and paramedics arrived at Glasgow Road earlier today Sunday 17th November 2024 and swiftly closed off the road between Whistleberry Road and Parkville Drive. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Glasgow Road in Blantyre is closed between the junctions for Whistleberry Road and Parkville Drive following a car crashing into a house and a gas leak.”
“There are no reported injuries. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.”
The road has since reopened.
