Drivers going to work or coming home via the A725 East Kilbride Expressway today may have got there a little quicker than in recent days.
The Roadworks near Whistleberry Road have been lifted , fully removing the closed inner lane!
This necessary work had been causing misery for drivers both night and day, especially during peak hours where throughout last week and the week before, long queues were forming.
Looks like it’s all clear!
