We’ve been contacted by worried Blantyre residents after this poor wee dog was found seemingly abandoned this morning, Thursday 14th December 2023.
The dog pictured, was left at Birdsfield Drive, High Blantyre tied to a random garage door. The shocked woman who found the dog in the morning noticed it was cold and shivering and called the dog warden.
The dog is safe, picked up by the warden during the day today. We’re posting in case somebody lost the dog or it was stolen. Do you recognise it?
CCTV footage was later found showing the dog being left there around 6pm last night. Footage of a young man wearing a skip cap in the driveway was found to show him leaving the wee dog, then clearly meeting another person at the gate. The dog left has a pink leather handle on the lead.
