Hope those folks who are out and about have had a fun and safe evening. We were up at Westcraigs earlier this evening , which gave a good vantage point over to the fireworks at Strathclyde Park. (And back home quickly after without sitting in traffic!)
A reminder that on Fireworks night, it is permitted for fireworks to be set off right up until midnight, though not permitted after 11pm on any other evening. It’s the busiest night of the year for our hard working emergency services, so we would hope Blantyre folks still outdoors are responsible and consider others who may be trying to sleep, or who have pets.
