Essential M74 Northbound Resurfacing Details

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the M74 northbound at Junction 6, including the northbound Junction 6 on-slip, from Saturday 8th February until Friday 14th February 2025.

Traffic management will be in place as follows:

Daytime hard shoulder closures on the northbound Junction 6 (Hamilton) on-slip from 6am to 8pm on Sunday 9th February and Monday 10th February 2025.

Carriageway lane closures between Junctions 5 and 6 from 6am to 8pm on Tuesday 11th February and Wednesday 12th February 2025.

Overnight closures of the northbound M74 between Junctions 5 and 6 from 8pm to 6am each night, including closures of the north and southbound on-slips at Hamilton and the northbound on-slip at Motherwell.

Traffic management will be removed by 6am on Friday 14th February 2025.
