Plans have been revealed for a new multi-million-pound Center Parcs resort—the first of its kind in Scotland.
Set in the Scottish Borders, just three miles north of Hawick and 55 miles from Edinburgh, the resort will follow the same layout and amenities as the six existing locations across England and Ireland. The proposed site, owned by the Buccleuch Group, spans approximately 1,000 acres of grassland and woodland, with the development covering around 400 acres.
With an estimated investment of £350-400 million, the project is expected to generate up to 800 construction jobs during development. Once complete, it could provide around 1,200 permanent, non-seasonal roles.
