This was the dramatic scene on Monday evening at Milheugh, Blantyre as a vehicle fire had emergency services scrambling.
A car was observed on fire near Milheugh Bridge at the bottom of the Pech Brae just after 10pm on Monday 9th June 2025. Concerned residents nearby called emergency services.
The blaze was extinguished and this vehicle and another in a similar location was removed later that evening, with the road able to re-open.
