Ever wondered what’s inside the Hamilton Mausoleum? Well, now’s your chance to see it for yourself!
Today, Saturday 14th February will see tours commence at 2pm.
The Mausoleum is Hamilton’s most distinctive historic landmark. Discover its secrets and see the spectacular dome, magnificent bronze doors, marble floor, and eerily atmospheric crypt on a public tour where visitors are wowed with the whispering galleries and the world-famous echo.
Tours are available weekly at 11:00 am on Wednesdays and at 14:00 pm on the second and fourth Saturday of each month from February to November. Attendees gather at Low Parks Museum 15 minutes before the tour starts and the whole group walks to the Mausoleum together.
Places must be booked in advance. Tickets cost £5.35 and £4.00 (concessions) available from Low Parks Museum reception.
Our Tour Lunch offer consists of soup and a sandwich served in our café prior to the tour (Saturday) or following it (Wednesday). Tickets are £10.70 and £8.00 (concessions).
Please note that Hamilton Mausoleum is unsuitable for people with walking difficulties and there is no wheelchair access. We advise visitors to wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear.
