Reach Lanarkshire Autism offers a range of support to children and families in the North and South Lanarkshire areas.
A spokesperson for REACH told us, “At REACH we provide exclusive groups at evenings for children and young people which do a variety of activities from arts and crafts, sensory play to games and even sport. We also offer individual support to families who may be struggling and provide training, seminars and relaxing activities for parents and carers.”
“During the school holidays we offer a variety of trips and clubs during the day for children and young people.
Below we have highlighted some of the support and opportunities that we provide:
- Various weekly activities for different age groups.
- Peer support.
- Parental Support: Emotional and practical.
- Holiday programmes.
- Opportunities for short breaks.
- Signposting for further support when required.
- Therapeutic and relaxation opportunities.
- Access to training and raising awareness.
These services are exclusive to members of REACH, our memberships cost is £20 per year.”
