What a fantastic achievement for local boy Nicholas Gray of Calderglen Avenue, Blantyre!
Nicholas has been selected to represent Scotland at the Commonwealth Martial Arts Championships, taking place at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow this November!
It’s a brilliant achievement and a proud moment for Nicholas, his family and everyone who has supported him along the way.
Representing your country is a huge honour and reflects the dedication, hard work and commitment Nicholas has put into his martial arts.
Nicholas is pictured with his Eastbank karate club team mate, Niamh Junner who has also been selected for the Scotland team.
👏 Congratulations! Blantyre will be proudly cheering you on as you represent Scotland in Glasgow this November. Let’s give Nicholas (and Niamh) a big Blantyre congratulations and wish them the very best of luck! 💪🥋🏴
