Here’s a brilliant story to end the weekend. A local boxer has been putting Blantyre (and Scotland!) on the map!
Geo Hamilton has been over in Poland the last couple of days, representing Scotland. And needless to say, he’s done his country proud! Picking up GOLD medal, his latest win!
Geo boxes with Blantyre Miners ABC and has been out in Eastern Europe this weekend representing Boxing Alliance Scotland. He was joined by fellow boxing talent from Ayr Boxing Club, O’Neils ABC, Wellmeadow ABC and Glenrothes Boxing Club. Well done to everybody who took part.
A spokesperson for Blantyre Miners ABC said tonight, “The entire club are delighted – well in, champ!”
