Fair play to SLC who have been out recently to High Blantyre Cemetery for a big tidy up. The cemetery , in particular around the Blantyre Pit Disaster memorial was looking well tidy and neat this week. In fact, it’s been a while since we’ve seen this area look so well.
Chains fixed, grass cut and edged, no litter or rubbish….. it’s good to see this happening ahead of the October 22nd Anniversary of the disaster.
