Be aware, police have closed the A725 East Kilbride Expressway, heading north toward Raith Interchange as of 7.45pm this evening.
A police car has blocked the carriageway and is diverting all traffic off at Ireland Alloys, Low Blantyre exit. Traffic queues have formed. Traffic is running normally on the opposite side toward East Kilbride.
The cause of the closure is currently unknown at this time.
