A burned-out vehicle was discovered this weekend at the bottom of the Pech Brae, right next to Milheugh Bridge, Blantyre. The scorched remains were found in a wooded spot commonly used for parking and dog walking.
The incident has raised concerns among locals, with many wondering how and when the car was brought down and set alight. Given the steep and winding nature of Pech Brae, it’s not the easiest place to access unnoticed.
We’re urging nearby residents and drivers to check any home and business CCTV or dashcam footage from Friday night through to Saturday morning to help identify those responsible and keep our green spaces safe.
