What a mess! Local people have awoken this morning to a disgusting amount of fly tipping at Milheugh, at the Calder, Blantyre.
The approach road to Milheugh Bridge at the bottom of the Pech Brae has a substantial amount of stone, muck and brick dumped on it, mixed also with wooden pallets. The photo here represents only part of whats happened, with more outwith the picture.
This was done sometime on Saturday 7th March 2020, just before dusk and is yet another example of why CCTV is needed in this area. It is understood that cars may not be able to pass at present, with only larger lorries and farm vehicles able to navigate the obstructions.
