Calling all Youth Volunteers

Want to make a real difference in your community? Join the Police Scotland Youth Volunteers (PSYV) and be part of something amazing!

Police Scotland told us, โ€œWeโ€™re looking for enthusiastic, committed young people from across Lanarkshire who want to learn new skills and meet new people.

Aged 13โ€“15
Willing to learn
Keen to help in your community
Able to attend regular meetings & events

As a Youth Volunteer, youโ€™ll:

Learn about policing
Support your community
Build confidence & life skills
Have fun and make new friends!

They added, โ€œWe are also looking for adult volunteers (18+) who would like to be part of supporting our young people in the PSYV Programme. If youโ€™re passionate about making a positive impact and are interested in a rewarding experience, this is the perfect opportunity to help young people grow while developing your own skills along the way.โ€

โ€œWe currently have two PSYV groups in Lanarkshire that meet on a Thursday evening:

Hamiliton โ€“ our newest group with lots of spaces
Coatbridge โ€“ limited spaces
