In the most glorious of sunny, warm days, 57 incredibly kind volunteers met yesterday, Sdaturday 25th April to clean up Strathclyde Park!
The team, comprising of volunteers and individuals from many organisations collected a whopping 150 bags of litter, leaving the park absolutely spotless to be enjoyed by others all summer.
The tam included volunteers from:
*Hamilton and Blantyre Litter Pickers.
*Lanarkshire Litter Wombles (based in Motherwell).
*Uddingston Litter Pickers.
*Clean Green Bellshill.
*EK Community Litter Pickers.
*Clyde Valley Housing Association.
*The Scottish Rowing Club.
*Scottish Police Youth Volunteers.
*We Love Lanarkshire.
*Asda, Hamilton.
*The Girls Brigade.
