A725 Ek Expressway Roadworks next week

SP Energy Networks are upgrading the electricity network in East Kilbride to improve reliable power.

Night-time works will take place on the East Kilbride Expressway (A725) between Whirlies Roundabout and High Blantyre Junction from 24 Nov to 19 Dec.

Douglas Street slip road will be shut for one night on 24 November and Hamilton Road slip will be shut nightly for 6 nights from 25 November to 30 November. There will also be northbound road closures from the Whirlies roundabout to the A725, nightly, between 1 and 4 December, along with closures Northbound and Southbound from the Whirlies to A725 between the 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th of December.

All works will take place between 20:00 & 6:00 each night
