Tomorrow, Thursday 4th December will see 2025’s last full moon.
The Cold supermoon occurs as the moon is at its closest point to the Earth. Rising in the north eastern sky , the moon will be easier to see once a band of rain clears, leaving clear skies behind.
December’s full Moon is known as the Cold Moon and marks the start of winter as it occurs near the solstice. It has also been known as the Long Night Moon and the Moon before Yule.
