An alert for the Blantyre area goes out to tonight following messages received about attempted and actual break ins over the last couple of nights.
Just 1 night after the breakin at Broompark Road to the dental surgery, we’ve heard that somebody was snooping around residents gardens at Bardykes Road. One particular sighting was frightening for one resident who at 3am last night (early hours of Thursday morning) saw a man near her bedroom window.
The male was about 5ft 10 dark hair medium build, wearing a hoodie and dark clothing. Police were contacted and it was discovered the lowlife had opened a gate and that more than 1 house had been targeted.
Theft is likely the aim of this individual. It’s a reminder to ensure your windows and doors are locked, even in this better weather and worth a check too on your vehicles and outbuildings. We hope the police catchup with this vile human being soon.
