An alert goes out today after a house in Strathmore Avenue, Blantyre was targeted by a thief, twice in the one week.
A residents door was tried on Wednesday night, which set off the house alarm. When the homeowner looked out the window, he saw a male jump over his neighbours garden and run off.
Then, again in the early hours of this morning Sunday 24 May 2020 around 2.40am at the same house, the house alarm again went off and it was seen that the sensor lights at the back of the house had tripped showing a male again jumping over a fence.
The resident was left shaken and police have been called. This alert is just a reminder to be vigilant and ensure your windows and doors are locked. Hopefully police will catch this idiot.
