Hamilton’s Remembrance Service – What’s on Today

With just as many people in Hamilton following our pages and groups as Blantyre folks, we wanted to post about Hamilton’s Remembrance service too. The people of Hamilton are invited to come together this afternoon, Sunday 8th November, to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in war and conflict.

Hamilton’s annual Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service will take place at the town’s Cenotaph in Bothwell Road Park, bringing together veterans, serving personnel, local organisations and residents in a shared moment of reflection.

The parade will assemble at Hatton House on Bothwell Road at 2.15pm, before setting off at 2.30pm towards the Cenotaph, where a commemorative service lasting approximately 20 minutes will take place.
