Exclusive: Raith Realignment continues

You may have noticed you were travelling on a new road today if you were going to work in Bellshill. The next part of the Raith Interchange roadworks has in the last 24 hours seen traffic travelling up to the M8 and Bellshill, coming from Uddingston and Blantyre, now diverted on to the new section of road. This has resulted in no traffic now on the old road heading north.

This realignment only affects traffic heading to M8 and will once again see the construction works progress forward with minimal disruption to traffic. (so far!)
