Traffic is being disrupted by a large oil spill on Burnbank Road this morning, Saturday 20th July 2019.
The spill is next to the bus stop near the lights. Several cars have already reportedly lost control skidding on the spillage.
One local lady told us, “I lost control on my car luckily there was nobody behind or in front of me but there was also someone else pulled in at the bus stop that the same thing happened to. The oil is also at the traffic lights turning right to head to Blantyre which is causing the car to slide also.”
It’s been reported, but perhaps best find another route meantime.
