Congratulations go out to local lads, Ross O Neill and Robbie Sutherland for recently achieving the highest accolade, their Queens Badge at 2nd Blantyre Boys Brigade.
The young men were amongst 30 in Lanarkshire who attended a presentation event in Stonehouse.
Bill Andrews, Company Captain said, “This was a very special and unique event for the company. Not only did we have two of our members take part but the mini pipe band who led the parade consisted of 3 brothers. Cameron the piper and Ross and Scott the drummers all of whom are holders of the Queens Badge, the highest award in the Boys Brigade.”
The Queens Award will shortly change to the Kings Award. This is a tremendous achievement. Well done to Ross and Robbie. We’re sure your family and friends will be very proud.
