A reminder, roadworks start tomorrow (Saturday) at Whistleberry Road, Blantyre. SP Energy Networks are about to set up there.
Work starts on Saturday 12th October to lay a new LV mains cable for the new LIDL retail store and is expected to take up to 5 days. Work will include temporary traffic lights near the Whistleberry Roundabout with possible queues, especially at peak or rush hours. Signs are already up.
Other roadworks nearby at Glasgow Road by SGN will likely contribute towards further traffic queues, and may be worth avoiding the location if possible.
