Original Article – Has anybody seen Blantyre woman, Alison Wedlock? Her family are increasingly concerned and have asked for this post to be shared after not seeing her since lunchtime today.
Alison was last seen near Blantyre Asda around 1.30pm today, Monday 13th January. Her family think she was wearing a long black jacket, ugg boots and a hat. Alison doesn’t have a phone and they’re unable to contact her. If you’ve seen her, do comment below. We hope Alison is found safe soon. Please SHARE.
** Police Scotland Update 13/1/25 11.50pm – Inspector Greg McLaughlan said: “We are continuing to speak with Alison’s family and friends for any additional information which might assist our inquiries. Her family is understandably concerned and want her home safe and well. I am appealing to anyone who may have seen Alison or who has any details about where she may have gone to get in touch with us.”
“If you have any information, please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2360 of 13 January, 2025.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “We are seeking your assistance in trying to locate a vulnerable 45-year-old woman missing from Blantyre.
“Alison Wedlock was last seen in a supermarket in Clydeview Shopping Centre on Glasgow Road, Blantyre around 1.30pm on Monday, 13 January, 2025.
“She is around 5 ft. 7 inches in height with a slim build and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black puffa jacket, brown suede ankle boots and a woollen, burgundy-coloured hat.
“Alison has never gone missing before and it is extremely out of character for her to not be in touch with her family.”
