A public thank you to Eden Project Communities and their partners Greene King who recently and very kindly invited us along to their Farmhouse Inn. In their words, the event was a “thank you to those working hard to make a positive difference in their communities, and we thought of you!“
The offer of hospitality was greatly appreciated and unexpected….. but unfortunately we couldn’t make it due to work commitments. Whilst it’s lovely to think others believe we’re making a positive difference to local lives, we hope other, more deserving individuals in and around Blantyre were invited along.
These type of events provide a lovely opportunity to connect volunteers with organisations and businesses. To network and meet other community-minded people and explore ways how things can be improved in and around our town. Hope all those who made it along from our town had a great day.
