Here’s a nice story this stormy evening. A huge shoutout to superstar, local man Jimmy Small!
Jimmy, who is in his 80s, has been volunteering and appearing as Santa for local charities and groups in and around Blantyre for some years now. This year has been super busy for Santa!
He’s been to Christmas fayres and parties in St Blanes and Auchinraith Primary Schools and numerous Christmas fayres at St Andrews hospice shops in Blantyre and beyond. He’s also been to the TACT hall tiny tots toddlers Christmas party and even a breakfast with Santa at The Blantyre Miners Welfare!
Jimmy works so hard for our community, and his efforts deserve more attention and a special mention. Well done Jimmy. Just like your proud family, we all appreciate you VERY much!
