Wetherspoon’s are opening their brand new pub at Hamilton Road, Broomhouse, near Uddingston this week.
Located in the former Black Bear (thats at the old Calderpark Zoo site for those of a certain age!), over £1m has been spent on renovations with doors expected to open this week on Thursday 18th December.
The pub will keep the name ‘The Black Bear’ with food available from 11am each day. For summer, there’s going to be a large beer garden. Around 60 jobs have been created with the venture.
Yep!
