If you own a company, it would be worthwhile checking that your details are correct on Companies House.
This follows a data breach, where some internet users were able to edit details of other companies online. The major glitch, seen as a breach has meant Companies House has had to temporarily suspend filing on their website at https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/companies-house
A Companies House spokesperson said on Friday evening: “We are aware of an issue with our WebFiling service and have closed it while we investigate.
“We apologise for any inconvenience to our customers.”
