We were incredibly saddened to hear about the passing of local man, Wullie Bell
Born in March 1949, Wullie sadly passed away recently on 8th March 2026.
Wullie was much respected and known in the Blantyre community. He would often be seen out making a difference by quietly collecting bags of litter, something which he never sought any recognition for. His outings were often accompanied by granddaughter Cerys and his faithful companion dog, Sparky.

Wullie be very much missed. For those wishing to pay their respects, Wullie’s funeral service shall take place on Wednesday 25th March, 10am at South Lanarkshire Crematorium.
