The Blantyre Farm Road (backroad to Uddingston) is currently closed this evening after an earlier vehicle accident.
A car appears to have hit a tree with debris scattered over the road. Vehicles were tailing back in both directions before emergency services arrived this evening, Tuesday 31st March. Road is now currently closed.
We hope everybody involved is ok, but best avoid this area completely for now.
