Cardan Precision Engineering is offering an Engineering Apprenticeship where you’ll gain real hands-on experience working with advanced CNC machinery, modern tooling and cutting-edge manufacturing processes producing complex components for the oil and gas sector.
This isn’t classroom-only learning — it’s a chance to build real skills while earning and progressing in a supportive engineering team.
🔧 What you’ll be doing
- Training on state-of-the-art CNC machinery
- Working from real engineering drawings
- Learning alongside experienced engineers
- Gaining recognised industry qualifications
- Playing a role in producing precision components used worldwide
Because Cardan specialises in low-volume, complex parts, the work is varied and interesting — giving apprentices an excellent all-round engineering foundation.

🎓 What you’ll need
Applicants should:
- Be school leavers or working towards leaving school
- Have (or be working towards) at least 3 Highers including Maths
- Enjoy solving problems
- Have strong attention to detail
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude
