A new community group in Blantyre, hosted by Kilbryde Hospice’s Compassionate Communities, offers support and activities for adults facing life-shortening conditions and isolation. Meeting every Tuesday from 10.30am to 2.30pm, it features classes, exercises, games, and socializing, all for free. Local residents are encouraged to join.
The Strathaven Balloon Festival, Scotland’s only hot air balloon event, will take place from August 28 to 30, 2026, at Strathaven Park.
